What a flight!! The first 20 minutes was fine till all of a sudden the turbulence came out of no where. It was so bad that the pilots told the hostesses to stop cabin services and take a seat. I just couldn't bear it any longer so I just closed my eyes and went to sleep. When I woke up we were almost in LA and everything was fine till we landed.
As I left the baggage claim area, this short, little, unassuming guy came up to me a flashed a badge. "You are not in trouble sir, I just want to ask you a few questions." In my head, "What the f%&k!" He proceeded to ask me questions like why am I in LA, where do I live, how come I don't have any bags, do I have large sums of money on me, can he see my id, etc. I guess from my expression of don't give sh#t, get away from me little man attitude and the fact that he couldn't find anything on me frustrated him. Look you stopped me dude!!
Anyway I took my id back and put him and his Napoleon syndrome behind me, then went to my ride. That was my Tuesday cause of course I missed the flight on Monday and had to leave early Tuesday morning. Did I forget to mention that in the beginning of my story? loll.
That afternoon, I had a wonderful meeting with an Agency and felt pretty good about the whole process.
The next day out of the blue, the Agency called me and Thursday I was on a commercial shoot for TGI Friday's! It was a great experience cause not only was I listed as the hairstylist for it, come to find out it was one of the best commercial production companies in LA. Was a great experience!!
Friday, as I am still on my high from Thursday's events, I received a text about a movie being shot and they are looking for a hairstylist. I sent all my information in and Saturday I got a call that they would like to meet with me on Monday!!! Wheeee!!!
Want to know what happen?.....
